#53 Yes to future present and no to past present

Updated: May 20

Say yes to being present, being in the moment, relishing every new learn and experience each day brings. I believe the present is a gift from God, where we get to experience His presence. From the traffic lights being green all the way through town when I am running late and a car parking space popping up just where you need it, to everything you needed to buy being half price (that was one today), to kayaking with good friends down a river on your birthday (last minute notice), another one from today.

Say no to worry. 90% of what you worry about never happens. And it robs you of the joy of today, keeping you stuck, unmotivated, unfulfilled, and unhappy. Let it go. Look at what you have got, who you have around you and what has been good in your life. What you focus on expands. Say no to worry and yes to all the blessings in each day, however small they may be, from having a roof over my head to having a car to drive that someone else designed for me, to having a loving husband.

So I encourage you today to let go and say no to worry and say yes and thank you for the gift of today, being present.
