Mmmm, some of you may be thinking what is she talking about? I gave my life to Jesus 4 years ago and accepted him as my King. I didn’t really get it at the time, and to be honest don’t really get it now….the more I learn the more I realise I don’t know. However what I do know is that this small step took me to a whole new world of abundance and prosperity, to a life of love, pace, truth and limitless opportunity.
When I said yes to the kingdom, I found a peace in my heart and mind that has surpassed all understanding. I am no longer alone, I stand all the time with others, often in unity and one accord, keeping my eyes on the prize of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control…I am a work in progress, so there are and will continue to be some areas of huge growth to come. They may sound like hard work and yet each of these fruits of the spirit bring a level of awesomeness and abundance far beyond anything I could possibly have imagined. Saying yes to the kingdom has brought me light into my darkest places, bringing me love and peace where there had been conflict and strife. To come constantly from a place of love and to have a healed heart, has allowed me to really understand and see how “healed people, heal people”.
Saying no to the world, has been the most liberating thing I have ever done. Saying no to conflict and division in my life “a house divided will fall”, which is all about power and destruction. The world view depletes hope, “nothing sells better than fear”, which is what 95% of media feeds off…our fears. In the world “hurt people, hurt people”. I really encourage you to say no to the world, to fear, destruction, conflict and power and say yes to the kingdom, to love, peace, hope, honour, respect and exceptional value.
